I am a hacker at heart and so we are starting a dedicated division for recruiting, hiring and protecting the best hackers that we can find. They will work security for our company and provide their products and services to other corporations and projects to premote security on the internet.
Zag is like the wife/husband of Zig. Well, its more like C++ to C in a more loving way. We are working on Zag for a number of our own products and when we hit v0.1.0 we will release Zag under the AWFixer Source License.
for legal reasons we will note that we have clean room implimented Zig, but we changed it to include the file extension Zag and we have rewritten the compiler and rewired asam and comptime to ensure we are not in violation of their license.
pkg is like Bun if bun has stayed true to what it promised. We have implimented a custom pkg language that is an augementation of Zag with special changes for working on PKG.
pkg will ship with a dedicated configuration file where you can specify where and what you will be running/building for as pkg will ship with its own virtual dom and react implimentation that works 80% faster than react and is a 70% smaller bundle size. it will also ship with a dedicated way to bundle applications for desktop and macos without needing to use electron, native or tauri which will make them 60^% faster in almost every way on all non-mobile platforms
in reality what is an AI IDE in the current day? well if you are a VSCode user it is vscode with some agent features bolted on. if you are a Zed user, it is atom in rust with some agent features bolted on.we believe this should change and we have been working on an IDE that does that. it will have everything that you need to work with an agent, without the agent doing something it is not supposed to. While you are working the Agent will be aware of changes you are making, steering can be done by editing a line of js code rather than stopping and redirecting a session.We have also been hard at work solving the problem of codebase changes when the Agent is not fully aware of the effects of the changes in remote parts of the codebase and plan on releasing this feature to paying users in beta in the near future.
Code is the Agent that powers all AI features in the IDE. it is part CLI, Part TUI, Part App and part Agent Panel. you can access it from anywhere and list sessions from any device. Using the power of the Turso libsql Cloud we promise that it will feel like all your threads are always availible no matter where you are.
Go is an amazing language. We feel like it has too many limits thought. We have been working on GOS, or GoScript. a new way of using Go to make javascript like web experiances at half the abstraction cost and with the server benefits of using Go.
I have always felt like the only pretty apps are only availible on MacOS and iOS, so I set out to change that. Term is not meant to be anything crazy, but it is meant to be the most eye candy fancy looking, extremely fast and functional terminal app that you will ever use on linux. You thought Warp was cool? wait until you use this.
